well probably a T6 flanged turbo something capable of 1500hp or more
doing it with a 6speed will be a hard battle, you'll need more then 1000rwhp id say.
id go PT91 or S91 or bigger.

I think it can be done with a T4 flanged PT88 or similar. The larger frame singles are tough to fit up front.

with an automatic yes, you can get low nines with a PTE88
but with a stick, your likely to be at high nines, unless its real light.

agreed.

GT91 would be the smallest in packaging and most powerful of the bunch in size. 1000rwhp with it is not a big problem.

GT91.....its much smaller and easier to package. A PT91 is a full frame thumper = Huge.

My vote goes to the GT91 with a T6 flange and 1.08 A/R.

any turbo is "streetable" as long as you keep your right foot in check

The best thing about an FI car, is that it drives like stock until you go WOT then you get all the power the pavement/your parts can endure

That turbo with the right setup is well into the 8's.

MightyMouse has gone 8.7 on 17" drag radials and 3800+ LB + raceweight with a PT88. With some more biase towards race car, that thing could surely drop another 4 tenths. I will be running 8's before the end of the winter/spring season. That's driving to and from the track. I've already knocked down a 9.57 with a shitty wastegate that had my boost jumping between 13-15psi.

That said, it will be EXTREMELY challenging to run a bottom 9 sec pass with a stick car, no matter how much power you throw at it.
