Vortech V1 S trim question
Just bought a TA with a V1 Strim, it is blowing oil through the exhaust. Called Vortech and told me they would rebuild it replacing seals and bearings for 358 plus shipping. Although it will take atleast 2 weeks and no more than 4 weeks. Only problem is I cant wait that long for it. So I am trying to find parts to rebuild it myself and would like to upgrade bearings to a higher RPM rating. I have found part numbers but no idea where to get them from. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. It is a 5 rib 3.33 pulley right now but looking also to put it to a 2.93 atleast 6 rib. I am new to the S/C thing. Here are the part numbers I found.
2 Nachi ball bearings nac-6003 (make sure they are speed rated!!!)
2 SKF Ball Bearings 6205/C3
1 Chcago rawhide seal SC/R-6248
1 Transcom seal TCM-25x40x7tc
1 Chicago Rawhide Speedi sleeve C/R-99062

we deal with nachi and skf bearings for cnc machines but im not sure about the speed rating. any industial supply wearhouse's should be able to get the bearings for you. check with fastenal, MSC direct, grainger, or mcmaster car.

are you sure its coming from the supercharger? did you take off the intake pipe and see oil in it? the engine itself could be consuming the oil if its got a cracked piston or burnt ring/land

the engine bay is pretty covered in oil. When you crank it up theres white smoke with a oily smell. Once you run it for a second the oil slowly burns out and looses the white smoke. The oil is coming from the inlet pipe
