Default Twin T70's or a single PT88/GT88???

Specs on my engine in my sig. It's finally getting finished off at the machine shop, so now it's time to decide. I like the idea of a single since I won't have to move my battery to the trunk. The downside is it will be more fab work to get done vs using the C6 manifolds for twins. So given a choice for making 750rwhp through a TH400, what would you guys do?

PS: If I do go single should I use one JGS 50mm wastegate on each bank or just use one? I already have two is why I ask.
Single GT88 with single JGS50 is a easy 750rwhp easy. With truck manifolds it would be a pretty simple setup with just a Ypipe going to the turbo.

How would that GT88 spool with the combo in my sig?

No fall of yet , I shut it down around 7k-7200 and it is still pulling HARD.... THis year I plan to spin it higher as well as more boost so we will see I guess.

That's encouraging. What RPM is you setup spooled up at? What cam? If .68 won't cut it I can try .81's I guess. .96 seems to large. I wish the MPT70's were offered with the .81 housings. Only having the .68 and .96 really has me contemplating going with twin Turbonetics if I have to spend $500 on new housings I'm almost at the cost of twin Turbonetics with .81 housings.

I believe .81 housings are avaliable but I could be wrong.... Mine is fully spooled by probably 4000ish hard to say but I know it is fully spooled in 1.1-1.3 seconds depending on boost level etc.

I'm guessing it's a street car? Whatever your budget allows, but it seems a single 88mm will give you more than enough power. I think that is what Mightymouse is/was running. That was good for 8sec. passes in street trim.

I'm finishing up on a twin 76mm build so I only have my experience on the build process. Twice the plumbing obviously and not alot of room= alot of cutting and relocating. If I had it to do over again I would have stuck with an 88 or 91mm single turbo instead. just my $.02

Full weight street car that I want 750rwhp through a TH400 when set on kill. What size downpipe do you need for a PT88? I know with twins I could fit 3" ok. Not sure how big will fit on the passenger side of my GTO.

Could it be done with a T78 from Turbonetics?

I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem at all. Though you can probably get a GT88 from forced inductions for roughly the same price. It's always nice to have more power than you would need on tap.

I would rather have the GT88. I need to get dimensions for the T78 and GT88 and see what will fit. That's my limiting factor.

Jon, your goal should be to create enough power to keep our Class 1E PK "A" channels in each unit secure in case if the battery charger and the swing charger go dead!
