Default curious about boost levels..

im building a 383 stroker motor from my ls1 block. The assembly is the forged 383 from texas speed. I have stock 241 heads other than springs and pushrods. The compression is 10:1 and im running e-85..im just curious how much boost I could run since im on e-85 with my forged assembly and 241 heads..or even with 317 heads? turbo is an 88mm btw..and my car is cam only

Is it cam only or forged? How much boost you can run will depend on many things. Detonation and head lifting are the enemys limiting you. The question is too vague.

Provided that your tune is correct, you should be able to turn it up (boost up and timing down) until you push water. Probably will happen in the neighborhood of 17-19 psi if I had to guess. You'll need a pretty beefy fuel system to get there on e85 though.

what do you suggest for a fuel system? kentucky turbo has some great setups for the power im wanting..I really just want high 600's or low 700's which should be doable with that amount of boost

For a point of reference, I just made 737rwhp through a th400 on E85 at 12psi.
I was at 86% duty cycle with 120# injectors, but the tune is a little fat still.
I am running a belt drive fuel pump, but a single Magnafuel 4303 willl get you there if you run 160# injectors or keep the power around 700rwhp.
Some have run multiple in tank pumps as well, so that can work too.

what HP are you looking to achieve? or do you even care about that and just want to run the max about of boost and go from there and let that be the amount of HP you want?
