Default need HEAD ADVICE for TT & 414 cubes

Hi all, just need some advice!!!

i am about to buy a iron 408/414 for my TT's.

I have some LS1 heads heavily ported and running-
2.08/1.6 64cc, 260cc

I have some people interested in buying these, if i sell for $2k.

What should i be looking buying to put on top of my new short block, that will suit FI.

cheers

For a good amount of boost I would say, All Pro, TFS, and then AFR.

What are your intentions for the car? Track only, street & track, street only, DD? What size turbos are you going to be running? How much power do you want to make? How fast do you want the car to run? What's your budget?

I would not put a 414 LQ9 behind a turbo setup. It's either too much bore or too much stroke or both. AFR has the best customer service to product availability ratio IMO. Their product also performs as well as any of the others mentioned at the same price point and doesn't require aftermarket rockers.

so it is fair to say just go after market, no LS heads would be prefferred/as suitable. Will have $3k to spend.

lOOKING AT ABOUT 700RWHP, mainly track time/ weekends.

I has spoken with some RE stroke bore air speed with larger cubic TT.

However also spoken with 9s cars that run similiar combo 400 odd cubes?

cheers

I have no dyno numberrs on my combo but running afr 225 as they came from afr no extra work. Running as you see a 408. Was a bit worried initially might make the car doggy down low but with its 3.54,3400 stall,4l80 ,aps twins, and the 408 with my choices of cam and intake there is lots of bottom, and mid and top seems good as well.
I might go to six bolt heads and lsx in the future and hope afr comes up with some six bolt ones don't think they have any yet.
I am also considering afr heads on my 96z vert or possibly trik flo. Both are good makes and sure both will work well. You want thicker deck for FI.

Whichever head you choose, just make sure you have a good thick deck.
ETP, All pro, AFR all have good thick deck's to resist head lifting.
