Default shopping for a cam which one would work best for my set-up

im building a stock bottom end 5.3L engine with stock 315 heads, (dual springs/harden push rods) im going to have a ST80 on it and im wondering what cam to buy...
TR blower cam
214/230 .601/.579 117LSa

or

Split Pattern
224/227 .563/.569 114Lsa

or should i just go with a zo6 cam which i seen a lot use for the 5.3 317 heads

I like the Z06 better than those 2 for your setup. I am no cam expert though.

Remember stock bottom end keep the revs down make up for less rpm with boost you have plenty of turbo for it like around 6200.

There better cams out there for you then the ones listed look for less split in the duration keep in mind the exhaust carries backpressure now so it will want to spill back into the cylinder if the valve is held open too long.

I would recommend a custom grind cause it looks like you have enough turbo to put some big numbers down.Like 216/216 575/575 on a 114.Closest off the shelf I would have to say crane 212/218 531/531 114 or comp 212/218 .522 529 114 or comp 212/218 56x 56x 115 vinci trucker cam 216/224 5xx 5xx 115which there is one for sale in the truck classifieds.
