Default Dissapointed day at the Dyno

Didn't hit the number i was looking for.
347 LS1 engine 5.7, forged mahle dished pistons -16cc, forged eagle H-beam rods, ARP connecting rod bolts, Ported 243 heads, Patriot gold kit, LS9 cam, LS1 intake, ported ls1 throttle body, P1sc(3.3 pulley), front mount intercooler, bosch 42 green top injectors, Longtube race headers, offroad y-pipe, no cats, Magnaflow muffler only, rebuilt 4L60E 2400 rpm stall, walbro gss340 and ngk tr7's.

My ported throttle body has a hole in it and is causing my idle to go high. Ran out of injector before i hit 470.24 RWHP 443.80 RWTQ

What kind of boost were you running for these numbers ? Sounds like a set of 60lbers are in your future with a upgraded fuel system if your not running one now, for that magical RWHP number that your looking for. Ide say if your dyno run was at 6 to 7 psi that your not doing too bad IMO

Boost gauge coming soon, tuner wants 80's.
My list is

Replace throttle body blade(mine has hole from jantzer)
fuel pump hotwire kit
Boost Gauge
fuel Pressure gauge

I already have the gauges in my other car, i just need to swap them into the bird.

I think your money would be better spent doing a dual walbro setup as opposed to paying 60 or so for a hotwire kit. Just sayin.

stall was a freebie, sitting in my friends garage. Is Fast 92 a good choice for intake. I have two walbro's I could just drop one in but I still have some pump left.

i already have the 80's(they were going in my camaro). also thinking about stealing my bbk intake and throttle body on from my camaro. I think the tr7 give me a little more safety. Synergy sucks, Nick and the guys at Newtech answered all my questions no problem. Nick didnt have a problem with me recording my dyno, rick didnt want me in the shop. Nick repects my knowledge of these cars, rick couldn't answer half of my questions about his tune. I have efilive V2 so any changes in the software(tune) I am able to see. I paid a tuner for their tuning expertise not their equipment. Again i own a wideband and tuning software, I just didnt want to screw anything up trying to learn.

Cool, although Synergy does not suck. He is a great tuner and tunes my car which to my knowledge is faster than anything newtech has out there racing. I know Rick is very protective over his tuning knowledge. This is widely debated among all tuners everwhere. Some agree if you pay.....you should be able to see/alter the tune yourself. Some agree that it is their own trade and knowledge and it is their "secret". There are also liability reasons for "locking" tunes.

Anywho, good luck on your build.

most of the tuners ive seen who are locking tunes, is because they dont want you to go in there, compare it to stockand realize you just paid them $500 to tweak ur maf table and pull out some timing which you couldve done yourself

I'll just say right now even with my limited FI knowledge those 80's will be way too much for your 347 & P1SC combo. If your tuner thinks you need 80's you need a new tuner honestly. A good buddie of mine & long time FI member on here ChevyChad pushed his 347/P1SC to 600+rwhp on a good set of 60's. Along with the dual walbro in-tank set-up, fuel system converted properly to a return system, FPR & aftermarket rails.
