Default Boosting octane

I just found out the highest octane we have here is 90(super gay). Im running 9.75:1 CR @ 10psi max, for now, what can I do to bump the octane up a bit? Is it even necessary at my boost level? I know the ultimate answer here is meth but Im not ready for that just yet!

right on, well, i cant seem to find that thread now, but was there a reason you were wondering about this. Are looking to gain anything by upping the octane?

Im just thinking 90 octane might be kinda low for my CR and boost level, just a small concern.

Go with a meth injection kit. I bet you can find Mentanol at a oil/fuel/grease supply.

Ide wait personally till after you have it tunned to see wheather you need the meth injection or not. Your tunner will keep your engine safe as he'll be watching everthing on his lab top like timing and A/F ratios as hes setting everthing up for you on the dyno and at the same time,, watching your tune tables .You can always add alittle more fuel pressure to make up for the low octane if he sees fit or take out alittle timeing. I think youll be fine with 10lbs of boost on 90 octane if you have a good tunner? Ide be asking my tunner if i were you!
