F-1A or F-1C for 370/TH400/4200 stall GTO
The Tim Taylor in me says "more power!", but the practical side of me doesn't want to mess belt slip issues. Although a larger diameter crank pulley coupled with a bigger blower pulley would maybe eliminate it. I'm looking to run 14-16psi on the engine in my sig with 91 octane. What say you all?

i just put my F1a on a completely stock motor, well heads have never been off or anything. and i have bolt ons and cam and all that. and i made 17lbs of boost. i know its a ton for a stock motor, but building a stock cube motor over the next season, so mostly cruising for now. but it made ridiculous horsepower in my book. everyone was taking cover at the dyno just in case something didnt hold. haha

We used the ProCharger GTO bracket assembly on this CTS-V. It made 864 rwhp with 12.4 psi of boost, with the ProCharger F-1A. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=29 Bob

The F1C is essentially a F1A impellar with a larger volute-so it will run cooler. 4" inlet versus 3.75" and 9.75" scroll versus 9".
F1C will have more potential and if you get the belt tight you should have no problem spinning it.
I don't know why you guys don't have 8" crank pulley's?

stock 5.7. automatic with a ford 9 inch. made 680 rear wheel and thats stock heads and just bolt ons and cam and exhaust. like i said. only did a couple pulls cuz i was crossing my fingers it would just be enough to get a good air fuel and we did it. but gonna build a motor. so my car is now the ticking time bomb so gonna try and just do car shows and cruise til end of the season.

I am not sure what type of belt setups are available for the GTOs, but if they can drive a F1C without belt slip I would go with that for sure. I am using a F1C on my 402 with the SDCE bracket and it made 812 on a Mustang Dyno through a TH400. What are your goals as far as ET or power?

I changed my mind on what I'm doing. I'm giving the TVS2300 a shot. The converter is at FTI getting rebuilt this week. Should be able to order the blower as soon as my refund hits my bank account. As long as Arizona doesn't issue me an IOU for that part of my refund.
