Default which TB for boost?

well need to decide on my TB setup

1) edelbrock 4150 style 1000 cfm TB w/ EV carb hat

2) edelbrock low profile (not the ultra low) and a 90mm TB

any benefits to spend the $$ and go with the 4150 style?

most of us use elbows. I ran a 90mm tb on mine.

haha, thats my issue. I already haev a carb hat, so that price is eliminated.

I can get a 1000CFM 4bbl style carb for 380, whereas an elbow and 90mm are going to cost me about 500 total. Just wondering if there was any benefit of going w/ a 4150 or not.

It would be an interesting experiment. Power wise there probably wont be any difference. But....I'd say the carb throttles will be better to drive with.
