Default Custom Air to Air Intercooler design

I wanted to know if you could have a top tank facing towards the engine bay and a side tank say on the drivers side. I looked on bells website and could not find any cores that flow that way..........


Can it be done?

Ok talked to my intercooler guy and I broke out some paper. Ruff draft but o well.

It's all doable. Your picture seems like a pretty straightforward tank fab. Should be a screamer.

You can buy verticle cores from quite a few places. Just have someone weld the end tanks on and pressure test it. You should be fine. I plan on doing something similar once I get to working on my 93 again.

I believe the A&A and ECS corvette kits are set up that way. So yes it can be done.
