Default 5.3l twin turbo sizing

I'm getting ready to start a new project and am wondering what size turbos would work well for a relatively fast spool time - say around 2500-3000 rpm.

The setup is:

5.3l with 241 heads for a CR ratio of about 8.8:1
Front mount setup using C6 manifolds
Six speed and 4.11 rear gear
60lb injectors
Z06 cam

I am thinking this setup should be able to support around 15 psi on 91 pump gas safely - open to thoughts here as well.

What size turbos I should go with for this?

Some old style Mitsu units would work well for you. They should carry you to about 650whp with out trouble.

Thanks for the quick reply, do you have a model number I should look for?

do you think is wise to throw on Twin T70's on the 5.3 for now if I plan on moving up to a 402 later??

I have a single t70 on an ls1 and it spools around 2800... I would think two of these on a 5.3l would spool much later. Probably depends on the housing size as well, mine is a .96

No I do not have model numbers, I am sure FI can set you up with something though.

Twin 70s will take a good bit to get lit up on a stockish 5.3l even with the small turbine housing. They will work but will not have a great feel on the street, you will be wating for boost. They would be great on a 402 though!

Kinda like those high power supra's? I can live with that for now, also, define stockish
