Default harmonic balancer for boosted 408

i am trying to get my set up finished up and am down to the small things that add up really quick just wanted to no what balancer to run i dont plan on taking the motor over 7k but here is the thing when i bult the turbo kit it was bult around the blancer that was on my old set up it was an old 3 peace asp 25% underdrive so it hast to be around the same size as the asp i have a compstar crank that is keyed now for the 408 any help would be appercheated

Most people seem to use the ATI. Whats I use in my car as well.

Call ATI, ask for Rob at ext 3040 he will get you set up. I saw a post over on YB that showed a different brand, can't remember the name but it looked beefy as hell, not sure that it would fit your application.

what would be the benefits of switching to the ATI dampener vs the stock one ?

The advantage is to take the harmonic vibrations out of the engine at high rpms. I don't know about you, but I would take every precaution to ensure the safety of my 10k+ engine. 385 bucks is cheap insurance in the grand scheme of things. Better to be safe than sorry! When you've spent that much money what's another 385 lol. It's only money right.

i have a 6k$ motor, i do not rev my motor over 6000rpm, should i still invest in one ?

On my iron block with 13lbs. of boost I use ATI.This is also a 408 motor.
