Default what heads

i want to achieve at least 550 rwhp on my stock cube ls1. im putting together a p1sc with a custom front mount and meth plus a custom ground blower cam, fast90/90, ewp, LT's, 4" exhaust. im not sure what to do about the heads. im thinking about running 10 lbs of boost but im not sure if i should stay with my stock compression mildly ported 241's with bigger valves or switch to 317's not port them but swap in the valves from my current heads.
give me some feedback guys and let me know what you think i should do.

You can stay with the 241's. I made around 580 on 853's. 317's will lower your comp about half a point or so. If your running meth you can get away with a little higher compression. 243's might be ok as well.

is it worth going to the 317's if im only gonna run a max of 10 lbs of boost with meth?

Not really. Its more so for saftey matters. You can run 241's or 243's. Meth will help out a great deal.

the heads i have are the factory 241's that came with the car and were ported way back in 2001 or 02 with 2.02 and 1.57 valves installed so im know there gonna outflow a stock set of 317's even if i have the bigger valves swapped in; im just tryin to figure out if its worth the expense to do the swap performance wise.
the heads were decked at the time of the porting but the chambers were relieved to bring compression back to stock.
can you remind me what stock compression is for the LS1?
i see what your saying: i dont need the lower compression heads if im gonna be boosting to 10 lbs because i will have the meth as a performance booster as well as a safety devise.
