Default Finally done with setup and got some times

370 with D1sc procharger

we managed to get a 10.6 at 127mph in the 1/4 with the final pass but it still has alot left in her and that was with a little spin off the line and letting out a little early

not bad for a 4000lb fully loaded street car on 13lbs. of boost with only 13 degrees of timing in it and still running rich

i think it will see 9's pretty easy, especially once i get the meth hooked up and the nitrous back on it and can see what kinda times she will really turn.

i wanna give thanx to Bob at EPP for all the help and parts

-only 13* timing
-running rich
-meth not hooked up
-nitrous not hooked up

well you got one thing right, you are a dick these were not excuses just solid reasons as to why i know there is alot left in it

and dont worry i dont need you to tell me my car is fast,I know that a 10.6 is very respectable in my air out of a street car

how is saying my car is 4000lbs an excuse,i didnt say well i couldve run this but
i was simply making sure it was known that there are no weight reductions done
also this was the first time to the track so of course there is stuff to be worked out

i guess i did say done but give me a break okay i didnt know car guys were such pansies when it comes to wording the title of a thread
it is an automatic to the other guy who didnt feel like being a dick today

I think MM was just breaking your *****. Don't take it personal. Congrats on getting to the track and starting the shake down process. And as you can already tell, it is a process that really never ends. There is always a weak leak. As soon as you fix it, another one pops up somewhere else. The key is to fight the good fight.

agree with mightymouse on this one. lets hear what it runs with hooking off the line, staying in it, tuned right, meth hooked up with nitrous.

put up or shut up.

not trying to be a dick, you just posted in the wrong section. this should be in the bench racing section.

It's all good. And by all means, share your findings so that others can both learn about and be prepared for what they are getting considering getting themselves into. Keep getting out there and figuring **** out. That's the difference between the guys that are fast and the guys that think they are fast.

its cool man,it just shows what kinda people are on this site i guess

instead of a helpful comment i got this b.s.

i never said my car was gonna go 9's or 8's,i stated that i think it will get into the 9's which to me isnt bench racing just stating that i think there is enough left in it to get there and i might be wrong

i may not be in their exclusive club, but with the way they are towards people who the hell would want to be

Congrats on getting it going and to the track. That in itself is a feat right there. Now get the little bugs worked out and have fun.

i appreciate the offer man if i need the help(and i will)ill be sure to ask

i will say one thing, it is nice to be going as fast as i was and not have to fill up a bottle to do it

What stall is in the car? What heads are you running?

What was the air like? What was your 60 ft time?

Sounds like it is well on its way once it gets lined out.

4200 circle d stall, i didnt check the air but we always have around atleast a 4000ft d.a. here on a good day and up to 6-7000 is not uncommon

60ft was 1.53

the bad thing is Im running 4.10 gears still so i was shifting into 4th in the 1/4

guess i wont be doing to many 1/4 mile passes

unported 317 heads
