2004 gto ls1
9psi on stock springs??? honest opinions and hard facts welcome. Im going to either go with the stock tail spring of 7.xx psi or go with the 8.70 spring. Id obvisoulsy like the 8.7 spring.
im being told by another gto (ls2) that i should be fine. He seems to think i could do the 10lb spring and be fine?? thoughts please

I was told to not go above 8psi on stock springs. I have no facts to back this up, just reputable vendors and people that have told me this. But this is on a 00 t/a, Im not sure if the springs are different on a gto or not...

Some LS1s will float even without boost, will just be luck of the draw if you get away with it or not.
If your gonna spend $$ on springs just go with Patriots and be done -then reuse on your next build.
