Default How to convert PS lines to AN and run aftermarket PS fluid cooler?

so like the title says, anybody done it to a street driven car that gets run hard on the track?

my DP is going along the bottom of the motor, driver side, and i need to move the PS lines out of heat's way. i figure i may as well add a cooler while im at it and i like the idea of being able to make and modify my own lines in case they need or want to be changed in the future. this comes with the added bonus that i wont have one-off PS lines.

im not sure what size to use, although -5, -6, or -8 would seem logical. Is there a fitting out there that converts the rack to an AN style? Im sort of fishing with this idea, so im interested in ALL feed back

You can figure out what you need here and call one of our supporting vendors to order.

And bare in mind a compression fitting like that is totally innappropriate for PAS systems, which can run pressure around 1000psi.

Use proper fititings and hose intended for PAS pressures. Earls do a specific range of stuff.

-6 is fine for the high pressure side. Nothing fancy is required for the return/low pressure side, other than hose suitable for PAS fluid.

And when skimping on fittings and hose, also bare in mind that PAS fluid is highly flammable
