and its shooting alot of this out the down pipe off the turbo

complaint....puking oil out of the tail pipe....

pulling plugs in the am to see if it hasnt lost a cylinder...but im wondering if the oil pump stopped working in the rear..not sure on that, havent messed with to many of these kits..

does the oil pump run all the time or no?

no, the only time the oil pump runs is when the car is on so ya, it should be on when ever the car is running. there is always oil going back to the turbo so it always needs to get pumped back to the motor.

thats what i thought... but didnt hear it running....

thought it was odd to have the oil returning to the fill cap...but ok. and the pressure sensor in the pcv hose is for what?

(i havent messed with a lot of rear mount turbos, but i have a idea for a self contained oiling system for them..lol)

and im sure if the pump has failed, the turbo is hosed now? anyone want to buy a sts kit..lol(seriously )

no heat wrap, no silicone spray... oil pump isnt working... seems like the owner is kinda left in the dark.. wouldnt doubt the tune isn't that good either.

I'm sure the kit is just fine, just needs a new oil scavenge pump.

hell i know the mod motor kits, even mounted up front, when the pump goes, it blow the seals out of the turbo's 99% of the time. cause you really dont know the pump isnt working untill its to late

does it spew out the liquid while it's idling after a cold start? or does it spew it out all the time?
mine spews out oily/water while idling after a cold start and goes away when the motor starts warming up

dumps oil all the time...leaks off the v bands over night so on.

Strange, my pump was loud as heck - i could tell when it failed easily.

I also did have a oil restrictor on the turbo.

Oh well, time for a fun new build!

Did you even check the fuse for the power to the oil pump??? Make sure the pump is running before going any further with it.

sounds like the owner didn't know what the heck he was getting into. Matter of fact why isn't he on here? I agree check the fuse, relays and if need be replace that part. Is this the reason people get rid of the kit? Anywayz WTF is going on with the buzzer is it sounding or not?

Compression bent piping, exhaust pipe coupling with exhaust clamps, charge pipe almost on the ground, etc.... dying to see how the rest of it is set up. This is why rear mounts are deemed a POS from the start, somebody "throwing" crap together and expecting results. I'm embarassed for the guy.

Buzzer: the oil pump makes a buzzing noise just like a fuel pump would, so thats what hes asking. Is it buzzing or no? If not, thats the problem.

does this car lose or rather go through a lot of oil? Because now I would say that the oil hasn't been returning at all and just puddling in the turbo. How long has this been happening?

when was day 1? It already look like it is dripping from the turbo seal you would give a sponsor a call to talk about that as for everything else it's cheap to fix. And if you are not hearing a buzzer or the oil pump then someone hooked something up wrong. Are you at least hearing it prime when you turn the key?
