Default World's fastest Ebay Kit!

Actually I completely modified an original PTK kit as shown below to utilize a PT101 and 5" downpipe with 4" charge pipes to an interior mounted PT3000

The headers, and two crossover pipes are just as they came from PTK however (same as the Ebay kit but steel instead of stainless) The merge collector I removed the 38MM wastegate pipe from and mounted a 2 1/2 " stainless 90 to a Tial 60 and I removed and cut back the T4 flange and mounted a 3 1/2" stainless 90 to a T6 flange for the 101, The dowpipe is Home made 5" mandrel bent Stainless and the Charge pipes are home made from 4" aluminum mandrel bends.

This took 4 days of work and $900 in materials between silicone, clamps, and tubes.

However this turbo kit will support 1500 rwhp Im guessing.

That looks great. The only problem I see is the exhaust dumping and aiming to the front tire. That can cause for a bad day if that tire overheats and blow out.
Congrat's on the build , you did a great job!

Well I figure I hope I dont see more than 8 seconds of full throttle at a time ever ;-) and it will be drag only this time around so hopefully the tire thing will be cool, I've done it before and was okay.

This whole build I started on tuesday when my pipes showed up and tada! lol.

If the seal on that turbo lets go, that front tire will get oiled down. At 160+ MPH, that's not a good thing.

Looks great otherwise.

You should point it towards the back for "Turbo Boost!!!".**** it worked for Knight Rider.

Really though it jus looks like potential problem.lm gonna go out on a limb and say last time you ran it like the car was not on the same level of hp.

Are you suggesting a rear mount? LOTS of the frontmount cars have a turbo mounted on the side of an engine bay.......same with twins!

I think they are talking about the turbo seal going out & oiling down the front tire through the DP.

I'm with the rest of the crew, looks great, but DP placement could be better. Good reason to run it through your front fender.

Exactly.

Definetly nothing wrong with a front mount. I have one and it runs GOOD!

maybe i didn't see it,what does the turbo mount to other than the piping?

and i agree 1000%,down pipe should not point at the tire, should exit the car far enough that any fluid would be out past the tire track

Potentially the fastest.....mine drives right now

I thought about doing something like this, but I didn't like the idea that the turbo wouldn't have an air filter. I suppose you could have put in more in the center to allow for it. I think I'll just be doing the truck manifolds though.
