Default Stock bottom T76 guys come in

Just trying to get an idea of what kind of numbers and times other guys are putting down with T76 and related size stock bottom end cars.

For my set up i am keeping it on the safe side with 7-9 pounds with meth as a safty net. I would like to see 500 at the wheels but i dont know if i might be setting my goal a little high since i am running a built 4L60 and a 12 bolt.

I made 478hp on 8psi. Et's where around 10.90's 11.00's. Now Im at 11psi et's are 10.60's
This is with TC78. Going thru a TH400. I think your goals are very realistic.

I made 470 rwhp with 7 psi through a built 4l60e, yank 3600, and 3.73's. That was up to about 5700 rpm...it started falling off after that for some reason.

Hmmm thats kind of strange. Sounds like a tuning issue? Pulling timing or too much fuel??? What size injertors are you running?

I'm guessing it's probably a tuning issue but I haven't had it back since then. I'm using 60 lb. injectors. It is set up pretty rich/safe.

You asked the same question that I wanted to ask. After doing some lookin around 500+ hp should be pretty easy grasp for the 76. I'm going with a tc78 just so I have a little room to grow. Keep us posted on your build!

A T76 should be able to support 700 plus with no problem on a built engine. What is your goal?

This may sound a little off track bur right now i have a small 35 shot hooked up on the car that i had used with the 60 trim. Would it be better to tune the car well on the conservative side with lower boost and leave room for a 35-50 dry shot, Or should i just pull it off and invest in a two steep.

To run the dry setup you need to spray before the maf so the pcm knows to add fuel. You are running a maf?

Few years back I made 650whp through a 6 speed and T56 on 10psi.......letting off at 5500 rpms as I didn't have enough fuel pump (Precision T76gts). I never made it to the track with that set-up.

Mr_president went 10.20s at 135mph with a 76gts on 10psi, with a TH400 and 9".

^^^Both on stock bottoms

I went a 10.20 @133 on a stock bottom end too. th400 precision convertor, 9 inch with 3,00 gears. Its a 99 hard top, with a pa k member. I did it on c16, but it saw 91 + meth most of the time. 26 inch tires. z06 cam, and 317 heads.

boost.....I dont know, I didnt get a look on that pass, but Id guess 15-17.
It had dynoed over 600 before..an probably needed mid 600's to run the number.

Out of pump....out of injector.

I am still running a MAF with 60lb injectors and a 255 fuel pump. Im just not sure weather i should leave room for the 35 shot or i should go a little more aggressive on the tune. I am running alky control with meth.

The meth should be more than enough to get you there. Why keep the maf?

Why not? I have heard a few different things about MAF tuning and it worked well for the 60-1. Is there any reason i would need to change it out for the new set up?

Not a 5.7 but on a stock bottom end 5.3 (had mild cam/arp rod bolts) I made 577rwhp on 16.5 psi through a stalled th400 and ran 9.99@141 mph. This was with a single turbonetics t76 with .96 a/r housing

With my stock bottom end 6.0 (ported stock heads, arp rod bolts, cam) I have made 710rwhp and 630 rwtq blowing through the converter 30%. After the converter swap the car went 9.51@147 and was making somewhere around 780-790ish by the math. This was with twin mp t70's with .68 a/r on 14 psi with 94 octane pump gas/meth.
