Default need help with build ideas

im planning on going with a 370,402 or 408. id like to go with the 402 bc its aluminum block. im going to put the epp forced induction cam and a d1sc procharger. i dont know what i should do with heads or intake. id like to keep it stock like a ls6 intake and truck heads to keep the cost down. my goal is 650 at the wheels and low 10s for now then always up the boost. what suggestions do you guys have for me?

I'm in the middle of doing a 370, stage 3 LS6 heads and some other goodies. Either motor will make what you want. If your working on a budget, the 370 from a lq4/9 iron block is the best route. The LS2 block costs a couple hundred more. The EPP cam is a good choice and theres quite a few cars running it. Also, go with the 1-7/8ths headders. Yes it wont make as much boost but more flow=more power. Procharged engines like to have a as free flowing exhaust and you can get.

Stick with the ls6 intake, its a good all around intake. Also the 317s are good heads depending on what the CR would be. If you need the 317s to get CR down to 9-9.5 CR then do it, otherwise there are other options.

ok so heres whats set in stone as of now. ls6 intake, texas speed 1 7/8 and their new ory, 317s, and a d1sc(unless i can find a f1 kit used for cheap).im probably going to go with the epp cam unless theres another choppy cam that is good for prochargers. gona get a autometer boost gauge and already have a fuel pressure gauge. what size should i go with injectors? and what about fuel pump? then i just have to pick out what short block i want to run and im set. im planning on running 12# of boost where should that get me at first?

I would get some 60lb injectors. Call up Lonnies and get a dual pump kit from him. You wont be disappointed with his work. If you have the extra dough get a Nasty stage 3 kit so you will be ready to upgrade in the future.
