These pics show the intake set-up, with new rails, valve covers coated, and the new moser 9 inch. I decided to switch from a 12 bolt to the 9 inch for a little added strength. Then its the new spinning thing

The car has been at 417 Motorsports for about three weeks now getting the turbo kit made. So far I think Blake has done an excellent good job with it. The first picture shows the blower piping that 417 also did if anyone was curious what it looked like. Anyway here are some recent pictures......

Should have it back together in the next week, parts are at the coater getting ceramic coated and he is working on the cold piping right now. Once the hot parts are back I will post the final pictures. I have to give a big thanks to the guys @ Motor Machine for all there help and especially my buddy Clayton for all the work on the heads and the engine. Would also like to thank all my friends, including blake@417 for helping with this, I couldnt have done it with out there help. Fingers are crossed that it doesnt blow up on the dyno in the next week or so

Not a bad looking build! What CR are you running? Cam profile? (if you want to say)

You should have no issues seeing low 9's with slicks... (I am with a PT88 rearmounted)

cr is a little more than 9.5 and the cam is 242/236 .610/.601 116. Its actually a Virginia speed spec cam. Im hoping for a 9.70 or so pass once everything is lined out again. It would def. be low 9 car with an auto but Im leaving my six speed in it. And yeah I run a 28x10.5 slick

I also changed the stock k-member to a bmr turbo kmember to help with the weight of the iron block and also to add some room for the piping. The car is going to be a totally different car when its done, switched from a stock cubed engine to a 408, went from a blower to a turbo, switched from an eaton posi w/ 4.11 gears to a full spool w/3.50 gears. Its going to take a minute to get use to it again.

Hello, cars looking good. don't mean to hijack your thread but I just completed my pt88 build and installed dls 9in, Strano 1.2in drop springs I'm running 28inch tires and I'm having a horrible issue with my mickys rubbing my wheel well, I noticed your car looks like it sits lower then mine, do you have Any rear tire rub issues?

Thanks, John

I didnt have any issues with the 12 bolt, so I wouldn't think I would have any with the 9 inch. Ive read that the 9 inch raises the rear of the car a little. Doesnt seem like it did but I will find out by the end of the week when I get to drive the car again. Do you have stock shocks in the rear? I have qa1 shocks w/ stock springs but my shochs are set pretty stiff. Every now and then the tire will rub the lowest part of the rear bumper but thats it.

I'm still on stock 20k mile shocks. I guess it's time for an upgrade.

Thanks
