Default Finally feeling the power

lol-ran the Chevelle today, wanted to see where i was at on the food chain
best pass was 10.2 @ 131-i jetted up from the dyno tune, just to be sure it was safe-way to rich, so i went back to the jetting on the dyno, still crossed the line with AFR's in the 10.9 range, way to rich-prob could have gotten in the 9's pretty easy, but called it a day, didnt want to push my 4L80E trans, since i built it myself , lol (same with the engine)
i just ran it in street trim, with drag radials, was still spinning some thru the start, poor weight transfer, but its just a street car, so no plans to hammer on the suspension, trying to hook better

Those seem like pretty good times to me, especially if it is a street car.

What carb are you running?
Do you have a wide band?

I am planning on doing a budget turbo build soon on my LeMans w/400 pontiac. EFI would be nice but I'm trying to see how cheap I can do it.

Those are great times. What was the final weight of the car, rear gear, tire combo and boost?

i run a 750 Quickfuel carb that i had Kevin @ CSU setup for me
3.73 gears, use 275/60's on the street, 275 D/R's at the track, car is around 3700 lbs, gotta reweigh it with the
4L80E, def a heavy trans-i had 11 lbs boost under the carb on the dyno
i had my LM-1 hooked up, but at the track i had problems with my laptop
i looked at the runs today on the PC, first pass the AFR's showed in the 9's,
last pass they were in the middle 10's, still way to fat
prob jet it down some more, pull the front sway bar, some other stuff, make a
try for a good 9 sec pass later-with the good weather now, want to keep it in one piece for the cruises, gonna do a 400 mile round trip to OC in May
