Default New Best on 17s

Went to a track rental yesterday for a friends bachelor party and had a blast, 25 cars and 6 hours. It was very laid back and nobody got kicked out for lack of cage. Ever since I got a set of Nitto 555r I have been very impressed with them especially after hearing everyone bitch about them. I'm running 275/40/17s, I think somebody may have video taped it but I have to wait for them to show up on the local forum.

Bad part of the day is I destroyed my clutch 2 passes after this one. I looked like that orange z06 that tried to do a burnout. It was working great all day then just let go. I am ordering a 4l80 Monday.

No one got the 10.60 pass but they got the one after it and the clutch death.

You destroyed a Mcleod twin disc with less than 2k miles? What kind of power are you making? I'm asking co'z I'm getting ready to order that same clutch, aren't they suppose to handle up to 1,000hp? Good run, BTW!

I would guess I'm making around 700rwhp. There could have been some type of failure happen to it. It was an awesome clutch before this happen.

Wow killer 60' on nittos, that's freakin awesome esp. with a 6 speed. I'm curious to see what your ET/MPH is after the 4L80 swap. I'm in the middle of mine and I'm eager to get it to the track this season

I ordered all the stuff for 4l80 swap today. Yank brought you up when I was ordering the stall. I really wanted to try for a 9 with the 6 speed but it's just not worth the fight.
