Default single 14 or dual 12 fans?

no room on the engine side of the of the radiator for fans. so they will be on the front side of the radiator. they will be PUSH fans. i have room for either a single 14" or dual 12" fans. if i had 2 12" fans they edges of the fan will hang over the sides of the end tanks. that would you suggest to get the most cfm and best coling?

this is not my rad and is only for display purposes

thanks

when you do pusher fans do you shroud it like on pullers? i dont really see why a small overhang would be a bad thing.. but then again i dont really know..

I doubt a single 14 will do it. You should be over 3000 cfm IMO. I am now running a 16" pusher and 12" puller.

I would do dual 12 fans, but make sure they have shrouds. That is key. Try to cover up as much of the radiator as possible.

Another thing to consider when purchasing fans is the amp draw, some fans require a large amount of amps, then times two.....This will take a toll on your electrical system unless you have a high powered alternator...

As someone posted high power fans draw big amps. These draw 23 amps EACH.

So isn't no shroud better on a pusher setup?

from summit site you posted

They're designed to pull air through a radiator only, not push it.
