i just pulld the motor out of my 00 camaro it has AFR205s and a lil 581 581 220 224@.50 and a BBk intake. i wana go 8.5:1 and putt and something like a gt42r or something in that rang what do u think? and its going in my 95 s10 help and advice is well needed this is my first turbo build.

I would suggest upping the compression to minimum 9.0:1 or the car will be too lazy off boost. You should be fine in the 9.0-9.5range on 91 octane around 13-15psi I would say.

Its all in the tune though, also is this just a stock shortblock? May wanna look into ARP rod bolts and head studs to help ya out.
