Default Granatelli Version of 2010 Camaro Twin Turbo

It would appear there are now many great choices when it comes to twin turbocharging our 2010 Camaros. Only time will tell who made the best kit in terms of not eating sparkplug wires, burning up other engine parts that might get too close, potential failing scavenge pumps and the likes

Pictured above is the 90% completed TT kit I purchased form Granatelli Motor Sports. These guys have twin turbo'd my GTR R35 (upgraded), 1 caddy, 2 Vettes and 3 Mustangs. My 3 Mustangs are as follows. 1990 TT 351 making 880 to the ground and 992 at the crank - Dyno'd at Extreme racing in So Cal, 1300hp in a 1990 wanna be drag car for my kid to play with - runs 8.02 at 3500lbs (I know there is a 7 sec pass in it) and my other son has the Granatelli single turbo kit on his 2008 GT.

I am the Chevy guy in the family. I have a single turbo kit on my 2009 Cadillac SUV, the GMS twin turbo kit on my 2008 C6 Vette that make 900+ blah blah blah....

I purchased a 2010 Camaro and figured Granatelli was the guy again. Based on my passed experiences I know it will be great.

What I like about this kit and what I have not seen of the other kits starting to appear is what I call "complete packaging” like proper location of air filters, intake and discharge tubing that is above the chassis and frame line, my god there is a tt kit out there that mounts the turbo up high and basically rests them on the valve covers, who wants that?

Like I said before - Time will tell and I promise to keep everyone posted on the Granatelli Twin Turbo kit.

Agreed... Granatelli and Turbo Tech have a long relationship together. When Granatelli sold his company PAXTON SUPERCHARGERS he started Granatelli Motor Sports and he designed a Turbo Kit for a then brand new '98 Tahoe. Shortly after he teamed up with George at Turbo Tech who was a great customer of his. Speaking with George he sings praises of Granatelli and vice versa. It only seems natural that I deal with GMS because I live in So Cal. You can call it a Granatelli kit or a Turbo Tech kit - In the end everyone will be calling it the best kit

Granatelli is a great shop I've been there a few times and they did my brothers 98 cobra with a single turbo putting down 600 rwhp on 16 lbs on their mustang dyno. They are the shop I go to when my turbo SS needs work too. Excellent shop...

Looks like it's designed to bolt right onto the stock iron manifolds, which is a great idea.

Yes - the kit is designed to bolt up to the stock exh manifolds. They were trying to make it work with their cast iron turbo manifolds they sell with their C5 and C6 Vette kit but it just didn't pan out.

The first one will have a electric pump but I'm looking into a belt driven pump with Titan.

There are only two makers of turbo 'kits' for GM cars that I would EVER buy, and TTI is definitely one of them. They have been making consistently bad *** and durable setups that deliver the power for years. George's product is phenomenal and I have no doubt that this kit will be a success.

Great looking kit.
What size turbo's are those?
I assume you will be adding meth to the equation?

Turbo's in the mock up shown are from Turbonetics. Granatelli tells me the production versions will be Precision 62mm ball bearing turbo's and water cooled as an option (makes them happy forever).

As for H20/Meth as an option. I really don't want that. Sure it will allow us to jack up the timing to make more power but then the combo become dependant on the water/meth.

We know based on other applications and my Vette - that 600hp will be easy without water or meth injection. I like low timing and safe tunes. Even my Vette at 800hp on pump gas did not need water or meth injection
