Super quiet exhaut for a 5.3 turbo setup???
I need some ideas on a super quiet exhaust for my 5.3 mpt70 set up on my s10. One of my ideas is to aquire 2 stock mufflers of the 6.0L 2500 pickup and do a 3" DP and split it to 2 3" pipes into the mufflers and run 3" tailpipes all the way back and come out behiind the rear tires. Any input on that or any other ideas will be appreciated!

I just finished mine need to get to a lift and take pictures. Mine consist of 3" Borla XR-1 to a electric cutout when I want to think or go stealth close cutout which routes to 2010 dodge 3" in dual 2 1/4" out mounted where spare tire goes. I'm having much more fun with it quiet, hauls *** and draws no attention.

The turbo 5.3 awd van runs a 72 with a 3.5 down pipe to 3 inch, to 3 inch electric cutout. The rest is stock, and its quieter then a new caddy. It drops about 100 hp throught the whole exhuast compared to the cutout though . It drops a second off its et. Still enough to run a new vette though lol.
My 98ss runs a rear mount with a stock muffler behind the turbo with a 3 inch electric cutout in the middle about 10 inches off the turbo. Its quieter then any new car probably. All you hear are injectors tick open and shut. Way way way quieter then a stock v6 car.
