most f body fmic kits are not straight bolt in, just buy the intercooler from ebay and the piping kit and make it yourself and save some money. it is not too difficult

Could some folks with fmic post a few pictures during installation? Curious what skills are required to get this done right. I have access to friends who can weld but as they say a picture is worth 1000 words.

the FMIC was the easiest and pretty much the funnest part of my build. Ive never even owned a turbo car and it was easy. I had my cold side dont pretty much on day 1.

Sorry for so many pics. lol

How much boost are you looking to make? The ProCharger 4.5" twin intercoolers work very well in the 8 to 14 psi range. Bob

My original D-1SC 6 rib kit back in '02 came with the 3.5 intercoolers. They did just fine at 7 psi in the original engine that had 110,000. At 125,000 miles we put a larger oversize crank pulley on it that cranked the boost up to 15 psi.
Here is a link to it. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=55

If you have a stock bottom end, I wouldn't go past 8 psi and the 3.5" intercoolers will do just fine. Bob
