Default stock 06 gto A4 with F1 procharger 13-15psi

what life span do you guys thank the stock bottom end, tranny, and rear end will be??
i called procharger they said the biggest pulley i can get on the blower is 4.75 under stock hood they said it will make 13-15psi thats spinning it to 6400
i have the head unit from another project so i would like to reuse it on this build, I plane on building my own brackets to mount on the engine to move the blower back in the engine bay, so i can try using the same factory belt drive line, then maybe i can get a bigger pulley on the blower
the only thing done to the car is a tune with hp tunners
slp exhaust deleted cats, and 80lbs injectors
this is a weekend getter not DD

We sold a local customer a ProCharger F-1A system for his stock bottom end '04 GTO. He had a local shop make a one off 5.50 pulley for it, and it fit and worked great although with the large cam he had it was only making 6-7 psi. he ended up selling the pulley and going with a ProCharger 5.25 pulley to get the boost a little higher. Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner

The 4L60E is definitely the weakest link. Why a F1 and not a P1 or D1. A P1 would be a better route ifd you do not plan on forging the motor and building the transmission.

the f1 came off two other builds that happen, the s10 in sig and just resonantly a BBC truck
i have always wanted the wifes goat FI, so now i have the chance, just reuse what i already have, the weak links will be built in time but i need to get the last project sold to fund this one

Just go ahead and order you a wastegate and get a 8/10lbs spring. You don't need to be making the vette look bad yet lol...

I have a lot of information at this link that should answer some of your questions. Many 10 bolt rears have been broken with the stock horsepower, especially if it is a manual transmission. Bob

the blower is on and we tuned a bit tonight
I custom made all the brackets so i could use the factory 6rib drive line, it all works perfect, i have the stock crank pulley pined and a 4.25 pulley on the blower.....
i also put a waste gate on the piping to keep the boost down to 10psi, what little we did tonight it made 8psi right at 3k the car didnt feel right so i let out, we will have to put the wideband in tomorrow to see what all its doing
that f1 on the car is a dead give away there somthing under the hood

My P1 took the lesser part of 2 days of normal driving to blow out the 60E. That was on a lot less cubic inches too!!!

I'd jump up to the 4.75 ProCharger 6 rib pulley which is their largest, or use a ProCharger 8 rib 5.25 pulley. The F-1A takes more power to turn it that the P-1SC and D-1SC and you'll have less of a chance of belt slippage with a larger blower pulley. Bob

well took the car out last night, when it got to full boost holy **** it felt good
the wastegate is working great its opening around 10-11psi and staying right there, the only thing we are having problems with is on the lower rpm when I roll in to it it goes pig fat (9s) and it wont pull up threw the rpm range, but if i floor it and it down shifts it will go straight to 5500 and it pulls hard in tell shift point (6200) but it goes lean 13s on big end (stock fuel pump) we have messed with the pe table the maf, we are getting there but just time consuming, i would like to go to 2bar for the easy of the boost enrichment
this is on 8 degs and it was going lean cant wait in tell the fuel is there, then bump timing, this will be a sick ride

I hope you have a boost a pump on there to work with that stock fuel pump? Bob

not yet i have a 255 on the way to run along with the stock pump
when we we hit 6200 the fuel pressure was around 40ish and that was going lean so i now the fuel pump wont take it much further
