sts dragstrip times
its been a while since i have posted here is whats been happening.
installed a monster stage 3,clutch,flywheel,plate,did the drill mod.clutch works great i have around 1500 miles on it and probably about 30 full throttle passes on it,a couple of 150 mph runs.clutch has a slight chatter but i will gladly live with for no slippage under power.
replumbed my turbo under the axel, redid the intercooler from the prior owners cob job.lost about 360 degrees of bends and three foot of pipe and nine couplers.installed racetronix 255 and 60# injectors.
dyno the car at 4.5# made 441hp changed to a 8# spring and it made 492hp/502ft# big yahoo to hal cercola on his tuning.the prior owner had some clowns who call themselves moon performance do the install and tune, was extremely lucky this thing didnt have holes in the pistons waaaaay too lean.
ran it today at the local 1320.
2.2129 60'
8.1969@93.39 660'
12.3950@118.98 1320'
on nitto street tires, with some hook this thing is an honest 11 second ride.say good bye ten bolt.
60'sucks ***** on some real tires this thing will bust 11's easy.

The other night I took mine out for some last runs with the stock cubed motor and my new 12 bolt. DA was supposed to be something terrible like 6000 or something, and still managed to best an 11.7 at 115 with a 1.8 60' and im running a built auto. Props on hauling *** with the sixspeed! with a better 60 foot time, youll be in the 11s for sure.

the best MPH of the day was 119.05 pretty cool to see that .everyone said saturday was about .20- .30 off ET wise, really overcast and humid as fock.i had changed the wastegate spring and didnt do anything with the blowoff spring. from the top of second thru fourth it was surging,so there is probably more in it.
BTW this is an older sts setup with the small 60mm turbo.
