Default More progress pics of my 10.5 outlaw Trans Am

More progress on the car maybe in month or two all of the fab work will be complete and it will be ready for paint and motor and trans assembly. The plug access is awesome with these headers even with 2" primarys will be able to change them all in 10 min. My builder said he was gonna work on the merge pipes mount both gates and work on the DP this week so i should have some more pics in about 2 weeks or so.

10.5 outlaw is a heads up class...they are backhalf cars that run 10.5W tires

The block is super nice. Kurt told me that most of the machine work was done on it from RHS, If he chimes in here maybe he can tell you about it and what the motor setup will be

shawn @ va speed said the exact same thing...only complaint he had was that he wished the deck surface was thicker...but he said the main area was the best he's seen in a LSx type block. Also said the liners were harder than anything he's used to

That's one hell of a project. What's the size and back spacing on the wheels?

Looks like a strong contender, the only thing I would change would be a smaller header than 2" but it will still run good.

Very nice...I have been wondering when someone would actually get an LS motor into a lightweight, backhalf car. That should be fun. Are you going to be ready for the LS Fest in September? There's actually a class for you! You might be the only car but it would be perfect LS venue for a fun test session, lol.
