Question Procharged Trans Am.....Progressive Meth kit??

i am planning on going from 8 lbs of boost to 10lbs. 1st off do i need a meth kit for 10 lbs?? also if i do which one?? i hear Alky makes a good one..

Need more info. What do you have for a motor? Whats done to it?

sorry was in a hurry to post...lol.....its a stock ls1, 53000 miles custom blower cam, hooker 3/4" headers and a bassani true dual exhaust.

ok so what kind is best to get? i hear alky is good. but is there any kits that are better for a supercharged application vs. a turbo application?? thanks for your help guys...

You can run 10 psi with out meth if your tune is spot on. Meth would help alot though. Colder air temps are always better!!

I run the cooling mist kit and love it. Controler is very tuneable and can set it up easily. Takes about an hour to install the kit.

Alky control here. I liked the tank. Right up front, easy to fill, and looks clean. A little pricey compared to snow or other brands, but it does what I need for now.

Not sure if they are a sponsor or not, but lsx solutions has the best price i've seen on the alky control kit.

Have a snow kit, use the stock windshield washer tank for the fluid, works great. Pretty sure most kits are progressive in one way or another. I have mine start spraying at 4psi and at 100% spray at 10psi of boost (thru the 16psi it sees)

Im running a snow meth kit, its aight. If i build another boosted setup Im gonna try out the alky system just cause I hear good things.

There are 100 what-meth-kit threads that point to Alkycontrol, and it's the brand that I recommend to all of my customers. This just isn't a place to save a few bucks.
