What size twins for stock cubes?
Im sure this has been beaten to death but search didnt come up with much.
Im throwing some ideas around and Im curious what turboes you would recommend for a stock cubed ls1. I was thinking a couple of 60s would work well but Im not sure. Thanks

Do you think 2 Masterpower t70s would be too much for me to spin? Im already running one with a .96 a/r which Im pretty sure is too big

Im very happy with my Masterpower setup, it makes great power for what it is. Im mainly doing it because I can. We have long winters here so I need something to keep me busy for about 7 months. Trading out a turbo will keep me busy for about an hour. lol. Im going to be making a truck manifold kit and figured I may as well do something different. I was one of the first to turbo an fbody in the state, if not the first, so Im trying to mix it up.

If thats the case just do twin Masterpower T70's with the .68A/R exhaust housings. You might get lucky and find someone to just swap a .68 for your .96. Then you only need to spend $600 on another MPT70. There is a guy on here with a stock 5.3 or 6.0(I can't remember now) with twin MPT70's.

from reading tirefryins10's thread, I wouldnt want that set up on a stock cube LS1 unless it was purely a track vehicle. He was running 70's on a .68 a/r and I *think* he said he was all in by 4500 rpms, so knock off a few cubes and youre going to be waiting ALL DAY for boost, especially if you drop compression on a rebuild. go 60's, early boost and a killer top end!
