Default F2 Procharger C6 setup is getting close...

Well there has been some debate on other forums that the F2 procharger will not fit or line up correctly with factory procharger brackets. Well it fits and fits great. Here some pics and as soon as I get the cog pulley for the head unit I can get a belt measurement. This particular setup is for a C5 or C6 Corvette. We will be ready for the Holley fest and the lsx shootout again this year as well

Very nice..

What is CI of the engine Hunter?
I really think you can run 8s with the right tires/trans/rear setup with full weight street C6

Keep us posted.

The motor is the same LSX427 that I had in the white T/A with the 94mm turbo.I had the motor completely refreshed and went with a larger solid roller camshaft this time around as well.(.670-.670 lift-.250.260dur@.50 on a 116lsa) The limiting factor of this setup is the tranny. The tranny is however the stage7 from FLT and I have full confidence in it at this power level. I will be limiting the power to appx.950rwhp. We should have it all installed by the end of next week. I will take some progress pics as we go.

Nice combination, 950 rwhp will be a breeze for the F2. Bob

Been there done that in '07. You will want to read this thread to understand all the headaches we went through to get it to work. You will need to run the F2 on a dedicated belt, guaranteed. He has now since stepped down to an F1C. Good Luck!!

We got it covered. We did our homework first. We have the Cartek Flip Drive so the cog belt runs just the blower off the crank pulley. All the accesories run off a seperate belt. Next week it will be in place.

I agree I've seen a lot of cars getting 900-1000rwhp with 16-18psi with
F1R and F1C With F2 the car will need 15-16psi since the car is an auto..

House of boost built C6 ZO6 with forged 427ci LS7 stock 4bolt heads
RPM 4L60E transmission swap

LMR Tuned the car (very safe tune from what I read)
with 16psi made 1080rwhp

What fuel are you planning to run??

The one HOB built has a 4l80e conversion I thought? If it only took 16psi, then I am golden. My motor has better heads and a bigger camshaft so it should breathea little eaasier than the one they built.I will be running a mixture of pump and race gas. Depends on what festiv activities are going on at the time.LOL

Not sure on blower pulley size yet. Shift point is going to be around 6800rpm. lRev limiter @7000rpm.

We got the drive line removed on saturday out of the Corvette. Should have everything swapped out this week and back in the car by the end of the week. I will keep plenty of pics going during the process.

Well I had a little time today so I got the new motor and transmission and converter all swapped out. I also installed the new Cartek Flip Drive Kit as well.
I am going to run the setup N/A for a week or 2 and get the motor broken in while I await the intercooler setup to get here. Then I will install the F2r and let her eat.
The Tranny Is a FLT Stage 7 4l65/70e , the converter is a Circle D Billet,American Racing 2in. primary race headers.
Here are some more pics.
