W2A Procharged Fbody made pretty good dyno numbers today

Default W2A Procharged Fbody made pretty good dyno numbers today

Well we finally got her on the dyno today and the custom water to air intercooler that we built and gained 25rwhp and 25rwtq from just cooling the iat's down to 60 degrees. We still havn't got all the bugs worked out yet but I feel sure we can probably get at least another 50 out of it. But over all I was really impressed with the power we made (577rwhp 510rwtq) with stock heads and stock bottem end with 126k on her. j

Very nice numbers man. Ill bet it pulls hard. How long have you been making that much power on the stock bottom end.

Thanks, and yes Ive never had anything remotely close to this thing it just keeps pulling we were making 486 for the last 4 months but we put a custom grind cam from Heintz Racing in it last week and thats the new numbers. j

Im confused, you said in the first post you made the +25hptq from the new A2W intercooler with the lower temps and then in your next post you said you put a new cam in the car and thats why you went from 486 to the new numbers...so which one is it?

Thanks, I dont know the actual name of the paint but I havn't seen alot this color.

Hey it made around 550 with the cam and other boltons and then 577 when we cooled it off

Last night we got out to the track to see how everything would run. We made 2 back to back passes on the 8th the first being without the pump running and the Iats hit 145f and the car ran 7.593 at 93.840 then we filled her up with dryice and meth and ran it again and the iats dropped to 64f and it ran a 7.140 @ 96.739. If I would have put more ice in it I could have got Iat's to at least 15f and would have probably picked up at least another 2 tenths maybe more who knows. So all in all the system works so now Ill put a spray bar in my tank so I can cool my meth off with the press of a button and see how that works and Ill post up the results thanks j

To tell you the truth I dont know I ordered it for 7lbs and when we put it on it produced 10 and then we put the cam in it and made 8. Sorry for the ignorance and thats probably something I should know.

once angain, amazing results! how much ice did you use on the seocnd pass? Saw the pics in your other thread about the chargecooler icing over! loooks like you reducing undr hood temps at the same time! lol

Thanks man I used about 10 #'s with 2 gals. of meth but they kept me in the staging lane forever and my temps started rising before I got to go I think if I would have had some down at the line I could have got my boosted Iat's down 40 or 50 more degrees. j
