Default Gears for boost

I have a 99 TA built 408 for boost with a ysi with 12psi . What gears do u run. I am gona buy a dana 60 soon for the car .

With that kind of power wouldnt go over 315 to 342 at the most. If you do will be just spinning the tires even more.

I had 3.70 gears in my '99 Z28. With a powerglide and a 5000 stall, it did 1.29 60 ft times with a Moser M9 fabricated rear. It ran a 9.12 at 146 driving through the converter. Bob

what size tire?
what transmission?
what's the peak hp rpm?
how much hp?

I use the car street and strip, I use a 295 35 18 toyo tire and it has a t56 6 speed with a 50 shot of nitrous for the track.

Before pulling the trigger on that S60, make sure you consider the limited gear selection. You can't get anything closer than a 3.54:1 ratio for them. I wish I had known that before I bought mine. Really wish that I could go to a 3.00 or 3.25 gear. That said, I have beat on this rear like it stole from me and it just says "thank you sir, may I have another". The TruTrac that they offer is badass. It's strong because it's 35 spline and it drives like stock. No clunking as is often the case with a Locker and easy to manuaver and push unlike a spool.
