Default Mac Mids on a rear mount setup

Well, I've been searching locally because I don't want to hassle with shipping for stock exhaust and am coming up a bit empty in my search for stock manifolds and a y-pipe for a decent price. I believe I still have my manifolds laying around somewhere (I think) but haven't been able to find them.
I was wondering if anyone has ever run the mids on a rear mount turbo car. I am going to wrap the exhaust regardless so heat buildup shouldn't be a big problem

Yeah i did and had them wrap and they busted twice. That couldent stand the added heat, they would glow red after a hard run and gave up. I had them replace for free but then gave them t my brother for his lowerd z. I would just spend the money and time finding some 2002 manafolds and be done with it.
