Default how would an Evo turbo do on a stock LS1?

Hi,
there is a guy selling a turbo kit and I noticed in the picture he had of the turbo, it says evo iii part no: t040

I tried looking this all up but didnt come up with much, the evo's used 16g turbos IIRC, is that what this is? In any case, anyone have any idea how it would perform? I feel like it would spool out way before redline, but I'm also not terribly in tune with evo's or turbos for that matter. If anyone has any advice, I would really appreciate it. I'm trying to find a setup I can run low boost(5 pounds or so) on with the stock motor but don't want to end up buying a kit with a turbo I will find useless. thanks

hahaha, I was really thinking the same thing. I found it hard to believe that one of those would do anything for an LS motor. I guess I'm gonna pass on buying it. Anyone know of any low cost(ebay prices) kits that come with hot and cold side without a turbo? I couldnt quite find a whole kit on ebay
