Default Building Boost w/ 2 Step In A 6SPD Car

Just wondering if any of you guys have the LNC-003 2 -step? I just put mine on not too long ago an even with it set at 5k I could only get about 2-3lbs. I would hold the pedal down for 5 seconds and it never went higher. Was wondering if maybe the 002 with timing retard would help a lot more? Anybody have exp. with the 003 and not playing with the timing? I would like to get full boost(7-8 lbs) on the line. All input is appreciated

Manual needs major timing retard to build boost on the line or 2 step. Like atdc if possible.

Autos get load from their setup and actually need more timing to build boost on the line.

He said after top dead center. That would mean negative timing. You can go down to -25 degrees with hptuners if you set the min retard to -25. I believe what you are doing is trying to ignite the mixture more in the exhaust to spool the turbo. I imagine it creates crazy high egt but that's not the piston crown temp.
