mp112 max out around 500rwhp. Only a couple people have squeezed 550hp out of them. mp122 is good for >600rwhp, so are tvs 1900 and 2300

I've got an mp112 in my garagae, I would be pretty happy with 500hp.mods will be...

Radix mp112 magnacharger (innercooled)
2.9" pulley
60# injectors
Lingenfelter GT2 cam
1 3/4 lt's
No cats
Slp loudmouth exhaust
Ported 78mm TB
Though a 6speed with a 9"

Any guesses on power?

I wouldn't get caught up in peak numbers with a maggie as much as I would a centri. The maggie should really shine in the low to mid range then kind of level off after that. Maggie's are good for great power/torque all over teh rpm range.

right, but with a maggie, if i have more peak, then i should also get more low and mid, unless im running a cam made for peak power.....

Soooo 480+?

Im going to need to change my gear ratio, I currently have in 4.11's and a locker, I wouldnt mind ditching the locker, what gear ratio would be good for a 6 speed and a maggie? 3.50ish? I dont want first gear to be useless.

I used to have one on my daily, it was fun off the line and at 60, if I stomped on the pedal, it would still send the tires up in smoke.

Mods were:
Stage 2 Livernois heads 243 castings and 72 cc chambers
Comp blower grind cam, SC3 226/234 .598/.599 on 117 lsa
Caddy racing lifters, Thunder Racing 7.4 pushrods
Kooks 1 7/8 LT headers with Magnaflow high flow cats
3" intermediate pipe and Hooker catback
DMH electric cutout
MP 112 with 2.9 pulley for 10psi
Forged 347 TSP bottom
GM MLS gaskets
Stage 2 tranny with loose as hell Fuddle 3400 stall
Accel 44# injectors
Walbro 340 fuel pump and Magna boost-a-pump

On a 3:42 rear gear and custom tune by Vengeance it put out the numbers listed in my sig.

stock bottom end ls1, tvs 1900, stock heads
blower cam, long tubes, no cats and all the usual stuff
9 psi
510 rwhp, 535 rwtq
6spd 3:70 gear

I could change out the heads but I don't think there is much hp left with this combo.

should have my tvs2300 up and running in a few weeks, I am keeping the stock cam for now, so I'm hoping for mid 400's at the wheels...

Most LS1's dont run maggies because they dont fit 4th gen f-cars witout cutting

I just tuned a CTS-v with an LS6 in it...
Maggie twin screw SC...

guy has a cam with a decent amount of overlap and we only got about 6psi from it even though he was pullied for 12..
made 515/535
a 50 shot of the giggle juice got him over 600 ft/lbs of torque to the ground.

and FYI.. the new maggie kit fits under the stock hood

theres a 1/4" trimming of the cowl plastic that you have to do..it can be done very easily... and you still keep the weather strip fully in tact

damn 5.3 heads? did you have to run race gas? what clutch were you running? ive got an ls7 right now, hope it will be enough....ill be happy with 480hp, all the torque it will make will compensate for the low peak hp.

No, just pump gas. I also have a ls7 clutch with the ls2 flywheel. lol yea i didn't plan on putting the blower on before I did the heads/cam package. I know its not ideal, but so far its been awesome. I'm interested in seeing what your combo makes, sounds like it'll be a pretty stout set up man.
