Default Centrifugal Supercharger w/ Front Mount Intercooler

Ok guys I have been searching the forum and google for a few hours and still not getting what I like. I have found a few prochargers and vortech superchargers and am think of adding them to my LS1 build with a front mount intercooler. I am wanting to build a bracket for the supercharger myself and also do the IC tubing myself. But I'm not sure if I want the clockwise or counter clockwise supercharger. I'd like the compressor housing to face the front of the vehicle. So has anybody done this, any pics, thoughts. I don't see the point of buying a kit when I can make the other pieces for cheaper. Thanks guys

Would you guys have any brackets for the Vortech Supercharger? I just don't like the way these guys have the charger mounted. You can't even see the engine with all the tubing over top it on the Vortech system. As far as the Procharger, they're isn't many used superchargers on eBay. I would like to have the turbing housing shoot towards the passenger side then I can route my intercooler that way.

Like in this 2005 LS2 Corvette kit the charger is flipped around and shooting straight down to an intercooler...

Compared the the F-Body kit where the belt is in the front and the discharge has to go over the intake manifold...

Well I guess I'm talkin to myself here but I found some more pics of the 2005 LS2 Corvette Vortech charger system. I bet the mounting holes are the same on the LS2 and LS1 blocks so I think I could use the system to make a bracket or possibly buy the braket for this system. Anybody know where to buy it? Thanks

Hood clearance might be an issue as well? You might also have to change the water pump to the lower profile 05+ vette water pump. If I can think of anything else to help I'll let you know lol

Ok I found the kit is made from A&A Corvette, but its $599! Yikes! The only thing I could see go wrong with this on a F-Body would be it not clearing the hood. The kit is also for the ProCharger, which I can't find a used one on eBay. So I don't want to hack up a $600 bracket. I think I'll try to make my own bracket, and post up the geometry of it so you guys can copy it.

They make a kit for the 97-04 and 05 and up. So I think the water pump will be alright. I am still worried about the hood. I have a regular hood also.

I think this is what you are looking for. This is RMCR's new Low Mount kit using a Vortech Supercharger. It will support up to a YSi and and shown is a V-3 T Trim.

I did this on my 95 with a LT4...
Sorry for the tape pictures, I just don't have any pics of it done on this computer.

Custom high mount dual plate setup...

Old picture of it mocked up on LT1 (I just don't have any pictures of it now with the engine bay painted and LT4 in the car)

I had to do a TON of plywood templates and test fitments to get it to clear the hood and frame.
