Procharger Head Unit Reliability?
Im just curious how reliable the procharger head units are? I have read a few threads about people going through several head units. I know these things are not cheap to send in and have rebuilt. I want to know how long average these things last. Particularly I am looking at the D1SC. Im wanting to go with forced induction and this seems like the easiest to install and requires the least amount of maintenance. I just dont know about the reliability.

60k on your Procharger and no track times? WTF! Seriously though, from what I hear that's about the life of them. Might be time to freshen it up to a D1 or bigger.
Mine only has about 5k on it over 3 years without any problems whatsoever. Not being a daily driver it's been beat on with the utmost regularity and I'm still on the original belt! If only my house A/C was as reliable.

My P1SC has about 75,000 miles on it. I used to change the oil every 5,000 miles and now since the car doesn't get but maybe a 1,000 - 2,000 miles per year it I do it once a year.

Oh, I havent updated that in a long time.
I ran a 7.9 in the 1/8 with a slipping clutch and spinning the street tires. I got M/T DR's and a new clutch but the car is currently getting painted. Should be at the track in a week or two and it won't be windy this time so Ill get to run the 1/4.

That's a fair number of miles. The previously posted link had a guy with 79k on a P1 that ATI said still looked perfect. If I can get that many out of mine, it will be like 2038 before it needs a rebuild!
