Need NEW TURBO!!!!!!
As we all know, i need to build a new motor, thats under control 370ci diamond pistons and eagle rods. arp hardware, etc.
New problem has come about. I need a new turbo. my last one is for sale in the for sale section. which leaves me with between 7 and 800 bucks to buy a new/used turbo.
i need it to support 750whp at the least. and would probably be comfortable there, if i wanna go faster i spray some juice.
with my given budget and knowing i need to stay on a t4 turbine, anyone wanna suggest a good turbo.

after talking to jose seems like i would be better off picking up a tc76 not the 78. said the 78 would have alot of back pressure issues. so im now debating on what im going to do.
we talked about the s475 and he said that sucker is 42lbs of turbo. so, if i went that route, id def be bracing the **** out of it. so.... i have some thinking to do.

Good luck with your decision. I am working on getting my S475 installed this weekend as long as the flanges arrive via UPS today. It will be interesting bracing that heavy beast in the rear. I will have to weld up some new brackets but that should not be to big of a deal. I might have to get some air bags to go in my Lovells springs so I dont hit the bump stops
But look on the bright side it will help with traction in the rear

yes it will help traction. you can use spherical rod end links to brace it up and weld the tabs on the compressor and bolt them onto the CHRA. man it's gonna be scary to have that huge beast back there. I know Zombie put a huge T6 flange turbo back there.

i DO NOT want to pay an extra 200 damn dollars to go from a t6 housing to a t4, so now the questions begs to be asked. How much more trouble am i going to have trying to spool that thing on a 370ci??

in the front you really would not have any problem provided the hotside isnt outrageous but in the rear you will have a tough time. there are options to help it out a bit like a quick spool valve and nitrous, timing, etc. but you really need to put alot of thought in the bracing department.
