Sick! But I have to ask, you feel comfortable running that F1R open like that unfiltered w/ such fine dust in the desert?

Cars untuned and you're beating on it, great idea. You cannot have compressor surge on a supercharger. Sounds like a BOV, might be a good idea to run a race bypass valve.

A supercharger is a compressor and it definitely sounds like it is surging.

That is an improper setup blow off valve fluttering. Compressor surge is caused from being behind the choke line on a turbo, not possible with a belt driven supercharger.

you def. need another BOV or up grade to the race BOV, the way it sounds that blower will not last a week with it surging against that bov

I agree with a couple people on here about having a filter and not smashing on it without having the car tuned. It would suck to lose something like that.

Perfect example of why you can't listen to everything you read on a message board.

That thing really snaps when you hit the throttle. Looks like it's a blast to drive.

Very nice video but I agree with the responses on going wide open throttle on an untuned car. Hopefully a base tune for your combination was installed, but even if a tune was installed I wouldn't go wide open throttle until a good dyno tune has been performed.
Get an air filter on there right away or you'll be rebuilding the engine much sooner than you want to, and I would have a ProCharger race valve http://shop.brutespeed.com/C5-C6-Corvette_c187.htm installed. Bob
