What meth kit are you running
I,m wanting to get a kit for my vortech Ttrim powered t/a. I,m just wondering is there any advantage in alky controls kit where you can run straight meth or would the snow kit work just as well with water/meth mix.

I wouldnt do straight meth=flammable liquid through unprotected plastic lines with pushon air fittings. Next thing we'll be making the entire fuel system, transmission lines, oil lines, etc.. out of red plastic tubing.
If you plan on running washer solvent.. any line will work. Worse case it leaks from the fittings. If it leaks and your tune is not dependant.. doesnt matter.
If you decide to do straight methanol.. and trunk mount it, vent the tank outside and use a fuel cell.. especially on an open cockpit car. I would only do a trunk kit if the front tank was not an option.
You strive to get what you pay for. And it is the same trouble to install parts that are inexpensive/expensive as labor is still being used. Bottom line, choose what you can afford and live with the results.
I wont get into the parts being made in China now.. from electrical terminals, electronic controllers, fittings, hoses, etc.. There is some really poor quality stuff floating around in everyones industries.. the injection industry has plenty. Its all fun and games until someone loses a motor over it. Then the $$$ 100 you saved from using inferior parts rears its head.

where are you guys buying whatever it is you are running? I know snow makes a 49/51 mix and sell it for $30 for 4 gallons but it is also $30 to ship! Have also heard of guys buying it from VP? Can you do that on-line or do you need to order from a local shop/rep
