i was thinking the corvette bracket would work but it seems like the blower would hit the shock tower??? it doesn't extend out far enough???

Another way I was thinking is using the gen 5 cama braket, it bolts over the factory power steering and may stick out far enough to clear the shock tower but the blower may hit the radiator and ill probably need to move the brake lines, this would be easier if I actually had a blower

i have been looking into building a bracket to mount on passenger head the only thing is you have to relocate if not remove the ac canister, I made my own brackets to mount a f1 on my gto on the stock belt drive line in stead of using a separate drive like the stander kit

I'm not really sure but I don't see it hitting. The Corvette bracket works real well in 3rd gen RX7's with LS1 transplants. Bob

Yeah, and with the Cartek flip drive can't you run a F1R successfully?

Yes you can, the first time we used one at the old shop we had the belt adjusted tight the way we always have had to have them, and on the first run on the dyno we let out of the gas the the belt snapped in two! After that we kept belt tension looser and didn't have any slippage problems. You can also go cog with the Flip Drive too, so you could run an F2 without any problems. Bob

Would that have been a 10 rib belt with the F1R?

No, you still have to have the Corvette accessories. Bob

I have never tried it, but you would have to convert the engine over to the Corvette accessories and the inlet routing over the top of the radiator may create some necessary modifications. Hopefully someone has done it and will chime in, with the Cartec Flip Drive this would be a great way to go to run an F-1R or F-2. Bob
