Thumbs up ProCharger now has a Front Mount Intercooler Option for the F Body Listed

ProCharger now has a Front Mount Intercooler Option for the F Body Listed in the Manual. I was going through updating my pricing as some of the systems have increased in price, when I noticed this option for the '98-'02 F Body. My first thought was, "WTF, this is awesome." I called ProCharger and the option was added to the manual but isn't really available- yet. When and if it will be available is not known at this time. ProCharger does have a universal front mount intercooler assembly that can be substituted for the twin intercoolers. Making it fit would be up to the customer. I have included it as an option to the complete kit I have at this link. http://shop.brutespeed.com/ATI-1GJ20...F-Body-Kit.htm Bob

Interesting. I agree, sure did take them forever! They should send out free 8-Rib kits to all 6-Rib people!

The only option for now is the universal front mount intercooler that they offer. The manual now shows a front mount for the '98-'02 F Body, but it appears someone jumped the gun on adding it to their manual. Bob

So this option, when it does come out, will be a bolt-on FMIC for the 98-02 F-body’s? Im sure it will be available separately? Atleast the intercooler piece with brackets made for the F-body

Hopefully D1, F1 and F1A kits will all be available soon. Looks to me they could sell a few to folks more adept at bolting on components as opposed to fabricating.

Yikes, I'm more worried about the price increase part. How much more did the prices increase if I may ask? Specifically the F-1A or F-1Cs

so you will still have to cut your own tubing ?

in that case it would be cheaper to buy your own intercooler and get the piping of ebay

Correct, the tubing is their universal design which would have to be cut to fit. Bob

I talked to the guys at the Procharger trailer at the shootout. They're working on keeping it bolt on. They're trying to stay away from having to do any cutting.
