Default New build/combo..F1/370 Dyno Vids/results MORE BOOST!

Well I'm currently in the middle of a new combo. New engine specs are:

LQ4 Block bored 4.030
Stock crank
Callies compstar rods 6.125
Weisco -12cc dished pistons with ductile iron top and napeir 2nd
Arp main and head studs
LS7 lifters
Patriot stage 3 LS6 heads with dual extreme springs (flow 320ish CFM)
Comp cam 235int 243exh .620int .623exh on a 115 LSA
LS6 intake with a 85mm throttle body
Motron 60lb hr injectors
Twin walbro 255's on stock lines for now

I'll take pics of the new motor and parts tomorrow. Now out with the old. Old motor is the stock bottom end with 317 heads and a ZO6 cam. The cyl walls even still have cross hatching...thats with 110K miles...over 65K were boosted. Lifters had some markings on them but nothing that could be felt. Still have to roll the pushrods to make sure their good. I'll finish pulling it out next weekend. All in all it was a good time lol...no time constraints and no rush for once.

I need to figure out an exhaust setup as well. I need something that'll flow decently yet can be pretty quiet. I'm open to the use of cutouts as well. I also want to get the aster bracket to help with belt slip. LS1RedZ did you ever dyno your new setup? What did you change? I'll try to take pics of the new motor in a little bit. 730rwhp or bust lol

I hope so...its been a long time coming lol. I'm just worried about running out of fuel to soon. I know I need -8 supply but I guess I'll see how far I get as is. Any other ideas that I may have over looked?

What size headers do you have currently? I have 1 3/4 Pacesetters and that was a mistake. I need much bigger headers. I bet my EGTs are ridiculous. Yeah I got it dynoed the other day. It said I made 780/717 on one pull and it was over 100degrees in the shop. It would consistently put down 720-750. The 780 came with a long period of cool down time. Gonna prolly make a few pulls when that first good cold front rolls in.

Can you pm or post the graph? What dyno? The headders that are currently on the car are pacesetters (dont know size...probably 1-3/4ths) but i have ARH 2" race headders. Your setup gives me hope. Meth?. I'm worried about the fuel setup though lol. I want to get as far as I can before I spend a lot more money lol. Our temps here are a hell of a lot better then that.

I havent made a pass on the new tune. My best on the old tune was a 10.5 @ 134. I broke my driveshaft on the new tune about 3 weeks ago. Just got a new one ordered. Im using the 7.65/3.4 pulley combo and yes on Asters bracket.

I hate you for having a Procharger haha. What boost level you gonna run it at? How much power do you think you're gonna make? Please tell me you're going to run meth, it's only like $500 for a kit and the gains are so freakin worth it

I already run meth lol...I plan on maxing out the blower on rpm so hopefully 17psi or so? If you read up a little bit I hope to make 730+ but LS1REDZ made 780 so I guess we'll see.

Thanks guys! I do need to figure out some stuff though. I need new motor mounts, gaskets and such. I do need to figure out how I'm going to position the radiator. Does anybody have any ideas on how the truck hat fits in relation to the radiator?
