my front mount turbo LT1 build (pics) here are some pics of my LT1 turbo build
leave me a comment if you like...
victor junior intake that i machined to fit the lt1 heads (actually lt4 heads if it matters)
washers to correct the bolt angle issues
goodbye opti
the headers. all stainless.
the tig welds
divided wastegate
4.5 inch exhaust
the 4.5 inch pipe will be merged into dual 3 inch, mandrel bent over the axle exhaust just behind the passenger seat area
the merge pipes will have flex sections added, and everything will be ceramic coated.
the alt mount and turbo mount are just temporary.... hey are just being used temporarily, until i can machine something nicer

its a fully forged 383 short block.
ported lt4 heads
stock lt1 cam
the turbo is a gt42 series
nothing too wild. the current heads and block are just the to test the kit. i will buld a decent motor for the turbo kit soon.
i think i should be able to hit 600rwhp with this as it sits

Very nice! I really wanted to run my exhaust like yours but couldn't since I used BBK shorties and the routing I used. Where did you get those washers? Definitely looking forward to seeing the finished product. Keep it up!
